mini sessions

SO, WHAT EXACTLY IS A MINI SESSION?  As the name implies, it is a mini version of my signature sessions.  This page will provide you with all the information you need to decide whether a mini session is right for you.

Throughout the year, I will offer short and oh so sweet mini sessions as a simple way to capture moments.  For some, the thought of scheduling, paying for, and sitting through a photoshoot is a daunting task.  But it doesn't have to be.

A mini session is basically a fun-sized photoshoot!  As the term implies, it is a very short photo session.  While my normal custom photo sessions usually run 45 mins to 1.5 hours, my mini photo sessions generally run between 15-20 minutes.

Mini sessions include a location chosen by me (the photographer), and the time does not allow for outfit changes.  They will be themed, covering everything from holiday to seasonal shoots.  These sessions include a few images with option to purchase additional photos, prints and canvases.

These sessions are only offered at a limited number each year, so you'll want to book your space as I announce a mini session event so that you can save your spot!

SUCCESSFUL FAMILY MINI SESSION TIPS

Before your family session please make sure to review the tips below.

WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?

Please arrive 10 minutes early and make sure everyone’s outfits and hair are perfect!  *In consideration of the other families booked after you, please be on time and know that if you are not, we will still be ending at the time your session is scheduled to be over.

HOW MANY OUTFITS?

Because these are only 20 minute Mini Sessions, there is only time for one outfit.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

For this type of session, light, neutral and pastel colors will give the portrait an airy look. But when choosing color schemes, consider not only what looks best on you, but also what colors will look best on wall portraits and compliment your home’s décor.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING?
Besides the momma, just her immediate children.
